The U.S. Worker's Political Party of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism-Redd Thought (MLMRT)

* What is Marxism-Leninism-Maoism-Redd Thought ("MLMRT" or "Redd Thought")?

* How does MLMRT or Redd Thought advance Marxism-Leninism-Maoism?

MLMRT or Redd Thought was forged by Tim Redd and arose out of the revolutionary ferment and radical New Left politics of 1960's and 70's and is the application and evolution of the revolutionary science of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism (Maoism) to the times and  conditions of today's world.  MLMRT rejuvenates MLM and makes it a sharper and more effective microscope, telescope and spear for revolutionary change not only in the U.S., but around the world as well.

MLMRT or Redd Thought advances Marxism-Leninism-Maoism in 3 major areas: Political Economy, Philosophy and Sociology.  MLMRT or Redd Thought does this by making a number of new interpretations and contributions to original MLM in those 3 areas.

Political Economy:  MLMRT shows why capitalism would be ripe for revolution even without the manual labor of a working class due to the continued existence of commodity production.  For details see, "Automation Won't Save Capitalism" (also available from the home page "MLMRT Revolutionary Theory" section).

Philosophy:  Redd Thought (MLMRT) has creatively refined, and contributed to many new, ideas and concepts of dialectical materialism, the scientific, revolutionary philosophy which provides the framework of the revolutionary socialist theory necessary to successfully guide the everyday masses in their revolutionary struggle to do away with capitalism and transform the world to abolish classes and eliminate all exploitation and oppression.

MLMRT extended Mao Zedong's concept of a thing having a principal aspect for each stage in its development into the highly useful concept of a thing having a "leading factor" that guides, or is used to handle its overall development throughout its lifetime.  The leading factor is in a relationship of dialectical contradiction with what is called the "parametric" or the "constraining factor".

MLMRT expanded the concept of dialectical contradiction to include contradictions with multiple opposed aspects and not simply two opposed aspects as had previously been the case for hundreds of years.

MLMRT linked the biological and computer science concept of polymorphism to dialectical materialism, the philosophy of revolutionary socialism.

Redd Thought (MLMRT) emphasizes looking at things as complex systems and as "systems of interconnected systems".  MLMRT uses the science of complex system operation to guide the revolutionary movement of hundreds of millions of people around the world rising up to create a new world.

MLMRT recognizes the overall predominant role of the things on the outside when considering how something moves and develops.  This contrasts with a harmful trend that had arisen within traditional MLM.

Sociology:  MLMRT reawakened the need to adopt V.I. Lenin's strategy of "Create Public Opinion - Organize - Seize Power", with "Create Public Opinion" as the leading factor among the 3.  Since the late 1970's, the originators of MLMRT have put this forward as the correct roadmap for making revolution in the U.S. and other countries and areas like Western Europe, Japan, China and Russia which are the homes of the globally dominant, ultra-rapacious, multi-national corporations.

MLMRT reawakened the need to adopt Lenin's system approach to the relationship between the proletarian struggles around the globe.  Central to this is practicing the policy of subordinating the needs and interests of each national or local revolutionary proletarian (worker's) party and movement to the needs and interests of the international revolutionary proletarian movement. 

MLMRT is strongly opposed to personality cult, and to commandist, personality based organization of the socialist revolutionary party.

Redd Thought (MLMRT) bases the struggle for socialist revolution both before and after the seizure of political power by the people from the ruling "corporatocracy" upon the various struggles against all forms of exploitation and oppression as the leading factor.  This includes struggles against the exploitation and oppression of groups such as Hispanics, native peoples, Afro-Americans, women and the peoples of the developing World.
